PASTOR DAVID MORENO

Pastor David Moreno

loves Jesus, his family, and the nations. As a pastor's kid growing up in his native Colombia, David made a personal decision to trust in Christ at the age of 7. In 2003 he moved to the United States, following God's call to serve at Difference Makers Church in Damascus, MD. There, he served in different capacities, including reaching the Latino community, directing worship, and leading missions ministries. He also worked for The Arc of Frederick County as a support coordinator providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families. David and his wife, Heather, have been happily married since 2007 and have three children: Hannah, Elias, and Samuel. They served in Thailand for one year as missionaries supporting church development and anti-sex trafficking effort. David and Heather have led multiple short-term missions trips around the world as well as outreach teams to the local community to demonstrate God's love in action.

David joined the Mountain View staff in April, 2018 to continue moving forward the vision to reach not only Frederick, but the nations for Christ. David is passionate about seeing believers become fully alive as they respond to God's call to go and make disciples, whatever the cost. David is also the founder of Advance Worldwide, a missions organization focused on empowering churches in remote areas of the world to be the epicenter of transformation of their communities.

David has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University and is completing a Master's Degree in Theology from Liberty University.
