HELP & CARE
Our goal is to offer biblical care and shepherding, whether physical, emotional, spiritual, or financial need.
Home Groups at MVCC serve as our primary means of care and support and we encourage all to be involved. However, living in a fallen and broken world, we acknowledge that specific care may be needed through some of life’s most difficult times.
WORKMANSHIP
EPHESIANS 2:10
We are called to love and serve one another (1 John 3:17-18). With Workmanship, we believe in turning that calling into action by connecting people who need practical help with those with the heart and skills to serve.
Whether it's mowing the lawn for someone who can't physically do so, replacing car brakes for a family with a tight budget, or fixing a leaky faucet, we are here to lend a hand.
If you or someone you know could use a little help, if you're ready to serve, we'd love to hear from you. Together, we can make a real difference in our community.
Life can throw unexpected challenges your way, but you don't have to face them alone. If you need help with yard work, home repairs, or other tasks, Workmanship is here to assist. Let us come aloneside you- apply for assitance today and receive the practical support you need.
Do you have a passion for helping others? Whether you have specific skills or just a willing heart, your service can make a big difference in someone's life. Join the Workmanship as a helper and use your gifts to bless those in need.

DivorceCare
There aren't many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused to you, your family, and/or your friends.
You can find help here at MVCC through DivorceCare, a series of support group meetings run by people who understand what you're experiencing. You'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past, and look forward to rebuilding your life.
GriefShare
Resumes this Fall | Thursdays
GriefShare is a 13-week seminar and support group for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one. In a Christ-centered and safe environment, participants learn valuable information about loss and grief, share with others who understand their pain, and begin their recovery from grief with renewed hope for the future.
Resumes, on Thursdays, in the Fall.
Orphan Care
The purpose of Orphan Care is to encourage our church to actively care for orphans, both locally and around the world. We believe it pleases and glorifies God when His people care for the father-less in His name. Locally, we reach Frederick for Christ by partnering with local social services to care for orphans and vulnerable children and minister to those who do in Frederick County.
Hope After Abortion
Hope After Abortion is a post abortion recovery help group. It's confidential help for anyone, of any age or gender who has experienced abortion directly or indirectly. This support is offered free of charge.
